Jubilant Rhapsody is a vibrant and uplifting new work for flute choir. The piece opens with bold, fanfare-like gestures—bright, energetic figures that set the tone for the rest of the work. Throughout, it weaves in contrasting cantabile sections featuring long, flowing lines that offer moments of elegance and lyricism amidst the boisterous textures.  

Scored for 2 piccolos, 3 C flutes, 2 alto flutes, and 2 bass flutes (with the option for contrabass flute doubling the second bass), Jubilant Rhapsody explores the full sonic range and color palette of the flute choir. The piece balances high-spirited rhythmic drive with moments of refined grace, aiming to showcase both the power and subtlety of the ensemble’s collective sound.
